Birthe Mikkelsen is a senior engineer with more than 25 years of experience from academic research. She worked more than 20 years at the Oslo University Hospital, and before that at the Veterinary College in Oslo. Her expertise is within vaccine production and monitoring of the immune response in cancer immunotherapy patients.
Birthe is also an experienced molecular biologist. She received her education at the Frederikshavn Technical Collage, Denmark and the University of Oslo. Birthe has two lovely cats. She is a karate sensei, 2.Dan black belt.
